CBC in Modesto -- 14U Champs

Our Bulls were in action playing in Modesto this past weekend. Both clubs came to play, and did so on Saturday. 11U fought hard but lost their semi-final game on Sunday. 14U went on to the ship game and came out on top. Addison Hadsell cruised through their line up, and our bats were talking with Petey Torres leading the charge.

Both teams are improving regardless of the outcome of the game. The key at CBC is that all players improve their game, but also develop their knowledge of the game in every aspect. Being a team player and helping your brothers even when your not producing at the plate, that's a teammate.

CBC 14U "Graveyard Rumble" CHAMPS!

This past weekend our CBC 14U Brings home the trophy in Davis, Ca. The boys played great defense and swung the bats great!  We ended Saturday going 1-1, but came back Sunday and won 2 in a row to win the championship against a good squad (Dirty Dozen/Vacaville, CA).

Everyone on the team contributed to the win, but the weekend belonged to Ryan Tolley. Pitching a 1 hit shutout on Saturday, and going the distance in the championship game on Sunday. Tolley (#24) also led the offensive charge with 10 hits & 9 RBI's throughout the weekend.

CBC as a club has won 3 championships and one second  place finish the last 2 weekends. The players deserve all the credit for applying what's being taught, and never giving up!  Let's keep working hard at practice, and remember that "We are only as good as our next performance!!!.

Go Bulls & Go Giants (2012 World Series Champions)!
